The Princeton Entrepreneurs Network (“PEN”), with 10,000 alumni members and an 18 years of annual business plan competitions, is professedly one of the largest, if not the largest, Princeton alumni organizations that isn’t within the direct aegis of the Alumni Association/Alumni Council/Office of Alumni Affairs. PEN is currently led by Mayra Ceja ’03, Sabrina Parsons ’96, and Eric Sharret ’02.
Our motto: “PEN is a network by alumni entrepreneurs for alumni entrepreneurs.”
PEN is run by alumni for alumni entrepreneurs. Our organization is 100% volunteer based. Our funding comes directly from your “$10 ticket purchases” and “donations”. Inspite of our tiny annual budget of $3-5k, PEN has managed to put on 18 annual competitions/conferences at Princeton Friday Reunions and has active local chapter in PEN NYC and PEN Silicon Valley and “sleeper cells” in Boston, Austin, Montreal, Chicago, So-Cal, DC, Germany, UK.
As far PEN is concerned, you are a Princeton Alumnus/a the day you receive “Yes!” AND get your .edu address. Join the Network!
Our marquee event is the Startup Competition, held on-campus during the university’s vibrant, annual, early-Summer reunions. Additionally, we have PEN NYC, PEN Silicon Valley, and more coming soon. Want to get involved?
The Princeton Entrepreneurs Network is a not-for-profit organization and 100% volunteer driven and funded 100% alumni contributions.
