People’s Choice Award – $1,000
Win the crowd!
- May 20th – Noon ET – Startups submitted a 1-page pitch
- May 29th – 11:00 am -12:30 pm– Conference attendees walk around, interact with the startups, and cast a vote for their favorite. Conference registration is open to the public with the purchase of a ticket. Startups are encouraged to invite tigers, friends, and family. One vote per registrant (person).
- May 29th – 1:30 pm – The startup with the greatest number of votes will be announced the People’s Choice Winner. FitzRandolph Gateway, LLC is putting up the stakes for this $1000 cash People’s Choice Prize. That fund is investing in early stage companies, primarily those founded or managed by undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and/or alumni of Princeton University. For profit and for Princeton!
Grand Prize Winner – $2,500 and much more
- $2,500 prize provided by LivePlan – LivePlan simplifies business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for small businesses and startups.
- $5,000 of services provided by Resound Marketing – PR and Social Media Marketing specialists with offices in Princeton and NYC.
- $2,000 of services provided by Expertly Insight – High-touch business strategy/marketing consultants with MBAs from Wharton, Stanford, and Columbia. Specialties include strategy, business plans, marketing plans, research, financial projections, and investor pitch books.
- $60,000 of Microsoft’s BizSpark Plus services – Up to $5,000 per month of free Azure cloud services, for 1 year. Access to free software and tools such as Visual Studio and Office. Access to hundreds of training courses. A community of startups and technical advisors. Connections with enterprise customers.

- May 29th – 1:30-1:40 pm – The grand prize winner is announced, selected by judges’ voting.
